WOOL BOMBER JACKET CRAFTING DETAILS

the body and sleeves of this Cornigliese wool bomber jacket are made from felted cloth, produced by manual straight machine. Additionally, the bottom hem, pockets, cuffs and collar, are applied with hand-crocheted yarns. Furthermore, the pocket interiors are made with tubular yarn. On the other hand, 6 metal snap buttons are used as closures. The fit of this  jacket is created manually, so that it is oversized for women and well rounded for men. As a result, the garment is comfortable and adaptable to the shape of the body.

this Prototipo bomber jacket was handmade in Bergamo and required 10 hours of work, excluding time accounted for the preparation of the wool. Moreover, the use of Cornigliese wool from Parma, is a purposeful choice made to enhance and celebrate the tradition of this Italian province.
